Procedure:

How to clear your shipment? What paper work required and how much payment required?


Three big steps are involved in clearing and taking the shipment to market.

1. SHIPMENT CLEARANCE BY AIR/SEA:


REQUIRED PAPER WORK

  • Airway Bill, (Scan copy or original BILL)
  • Authorization letter from company under the name of clearing agent
  • The airway bill handed over to clearing Agent
  • Online apply for Food Import Request Services "FIRS" on placed computers in custom office for approval.
  • Collection of original documents from cargo village.
  • Collected documents go to typing center with the custom code of company that the product is shipped by.
  • Print the approved FIRS and attached with other documents and taken to cargo inspection department. As inspection are done you good to collect your shipment from loading and unloading section.

2. TRANSPORT/LOGISTICS:

  • Need to arrange transportation for your shipment in loading and unloading section.

3. STORAGE/COLD STORAGE SPACE:

  • According to the shipment capacity you would require to rent storage/cold storage space.
